What We Do The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office operates a 24-hour, 911 Communications Center that answers calls for service and coordinates response to all medical, fire and law enforcement emergencies in the County. The Sheriff’s Office is responsible for the enforcement of traffic laws, accident investigations, criminal investigations, crime prevention, boat & water safety, and the service of civil process papers and Court orders, along with many other duties and responsibilities required by law.
