He began his career with the Springdale Police Department in 1986 and moved through the ranks from dispatcher to Captain. He retired from Springdale Police Department in June 2015. Major Kenneth Paul Major Kenneth Paul is the Operations Major of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. He started his law enforcement career while serving in the United States Coast Guard from 2001 through 2005. During this time, he served as a Machinery Technician, as well as a Boarding Officer, carrying out multiple law enforcement and search and rescue operations in the Gulf of Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. Major Paul started with the Benton County Sheriff’s Office in 2005 working as a Detention Deputy. Dial 911 for emergencies.
