Bernalillo Police Department serves Bernalillo, NM. We will ensure that professional, effective, and efficient law enforcement services are provided for the Town by utilizing accepted law enforcement techniques and practices. These services shall provide for the protection of lives and property for persons residing, visiting, or traveling within the boundaries of the Town. The Bernalillo Police Department is comprised of 24 commissioned law enforcement personnel, an animal control officer, and two support staff. The Police Department provides law enforcement services to the community 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. The department has extensive experience in various areas of law enforcement, familiarity with the community and residents, and respect for the solid cultural diversity in our community.
