Fort McDowell Police Department

Fort McDowell Police Department is the tribal police force of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation in central Arizona, next to the town of Fountain Hills. Its area of responsibility is the Nation's land: a residential community of more than a thousand people plus the tribal enterprises that bring in visitors, among them We-Ko-Pa Casino & Resort, We-Ko-Pa Golf Club, Eagle View RV Resort and Fort McDowell Farms. Officers hold Arizona POST certification together with a special law-enforcement commission from the Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Justice Services, so the department can investigate tribal, state and federal offenses and send each case to the matching court. It is staffed around the clock, and Francis Bradley Sr. is Chief of Police. For police matters that are not emergencies, call (480) 837-1091. Anonymous tips can be left at (480) 789-7505, and records requests go to (480) 789-7509, where fees may apply. Dial 911 for any emergency.
