Galveston County Sheriff's Office serves Galveston, TX. Fullen graduated from the College of the Mainland Law Enforcement Academy with honors. He currently holds a Master Peace Officers license, Texas Commission of Law Enforcement Instructors license, and instructor certification from the Northwest University Traffic Institute. In 2021, Judge Mark Henry appointed Jimmy Fullen as the lead coordinator of the Galveston County Border Security Task Force in charge of spearheading the efforts between constable and sheriff deputies being dispatched to assist with Operation Lone Star. Fullen has made over 20+ deployments to the border Jimmy Fullen is a 5th generation Texan and lifelong resident of Galveston County with three kids and six grandchildren. He serves on the Board of Directors of the League City Regional Chamber of Commerce and Hitchcock ISD Education Foundation as well as being a founding member of the Santa Fe ISD Education Foundation. Fullen is a longtime sponsor of the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo, along with numerous other charitable organizations including youth athletic programs in Galveston, Hitchcock, League City, and Santa Fe.
