Hartford Police Department

Hartford Police Department serves Hartford, OH. Main Street Traffic Enforcement The Village Police Department has tried several techniques to slow traffic on North and South Main Street (Croton Road, Fairgrounds Road). The speeds on this road have come down some, however the Radar Survey Device has shown that speeds have not reduced enough to make it safe for village residents to exit their driveways safely. Violators are mostly residents of Morrow and Knox County driving through the village. At the September 14 Village Council meeting, the council has requested stricter enforcement of the traffic laws on North and South Main Street to make the road safer for the children and residents of the village.
